Dear Parents and Guardians,
I am very pleased to introduce myself to you as the new Principal of Children of Peace School, Mrs. Carrie Novak. I will officially begin on Wednesday, July 5th, and Ms. Zaffaroni and I are working together to ensure a smooth transition.
I bring with me 35 years of educational experience both in the classroom teaching Preschool, Kindergarten, Title 1, Third grade and in administration as an Assistant Principal and Principal. I am proud to have started my career 35 years ago at a Catholic school, and I am grateful for the opportunity to return to a Catholic school for this next step in my career.
I look forward to working together to make this next year at Children of Peace an exciting one! There are so many wonderful opportunities for families to take advantage of at this school. I will spend the next few weeks getting to know the staff, and meeting students who are participating in summer school.
I will be in the office most days beginning July 5th between the hours of 9:00am – 1:00pm. Please feel free to stop in if you have any questions, or would like to introduce yourself. I look forward to the exciting year ahead of us.
Mrs. Carrie Novak
Dear Children of Peace School Families,
After an extensive search process, I am excited to announce we have hired a new principal for Children of Peace School. Mrs. Carrie Novak will join our school family on July 1 as she prepares for the 2017/18 school year.
Mrs. Novak has more than 35 years of education experience. She was most recently the principal of Scott School in Franklin Park. Throughout her career she has worked in Catholic and public schools as a principal, assistant principal, teacher and teaching assistant. Please join me in welcoming Mrs. Novak to Children of Peace School. I am confident she will be a wonderful leader for our school, someone who will continue to enrich the minds and nourish the spirits of your children.
As always, if you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
I hope you and your families have a blessed and safe summer!
Yours in Christ,
Msgr. Patrick Pollard
